Frequently asked questions
What makes the Obasan Grand Organic Wool and Latex Mattress Topper different from a standard topper?
It combines 2.25 inches of GOLS-certified organic latex over 2 inches of organic wool, with breathable organic cotton piping and needle-punched wool to reduce shifting, all providing pressure relief and temperature regulation.
Who would benefit most from this topper and who might prefer a different option?
It suits sleepers seeking plush pressure relief with contouring and stable support, plus temperature regulation. Those who want a lighter, less supportive feel might prefer a thinner or less dense topper.
Is this topper suitable for all seasons and varying climates?
Yes, the wool helps regulate body temperature while the latex adds resilience, making it appropriate for year‑round comfort in a range of climates.
How should I care for and maintain this topper to keep its feel?
Maintain surface feel with the needle-punched wool setup and breathable cotton piping; spot clean as needed and avoid aggressive washing to protect the latex and wool layers.
What should first-time buyers know about using this topper on an existing bed?
This topper adds substantial thickness (3.5 inches overall) and a plush feel, so it will alter the bed’s surface and may change the perception of the underlying mattress firmness.
Can this topper be a good gift for someone else, and for what setting?
Yes, it’s a luxurious addition for sleepers who value organic materials, contouring support, and temperature regulation, suitable for a bed in a master or guest room.
